JOE PERRY: 'I Haven't Talked To STEVEN TYLER In About A Month'
September 17, 2009The Pulse of Radio reports: AEROSMITH was forced to cancel its summer tour after frontman Steven Tyler fell off the stage while performing in Sturgis, South Dakota on August 6. Following the incident, Tyler had his arm in a sling and told RollingStone.com that he was taking a bunch of painkillers. Since then, we haven't heard too much from Tyler and apparently neither has his fellow band member, guitarist Joe Perry. While at the MTV Video Music Awards, The Pulse of Radio asked Perry how Tyler has been feeling these days. "You know, you're going to have to ask his manager about that," he said. "We don't have the same manager anymore. And I haven't talked to him in about a month. So I don't know what he's doing."
Perry, meanwhile, has been busy prepping his solo effort, "Have Guitar, Will Travel", which comes out October 6. The first single is "We've Got A Long Way To Go".
